Y3オーストラリア語学研修でお世話になった現地交流校のホームページに交流の様子が掲載されたので紹介します（写真は本校教員の撮影）。

【Aquinas College】
We recently welcomed our sister school Nara Gakuen Tomigaoka from Japan. They spent 12 days here at Aquinas and engaged in ESL classes in the mornings and also attended normal classes with the Aquinas buddies. Our students loved having their Japanese buddies in class with them and enjoyed showing them around the school. A highlight of the visit was when Borobi the Commonwealth Games mascot visited us at Aquinas. Borobi taught the Japanese students and their buddies how to dance and then the students got to take photos with Borobi. ... I wish to thank all host families and Aquinas buddies for their continued support of the International Program here at Aquinas. The Year 10 students participating on the Japan Trip in September are eager to visit Nara Gakuen and further strengthen our ties with Japan.

【Pacificpine State High】
Last Thursday we said farewell to 36 students from Nara Gakuen Tomigaoka High School in Japan. This was their first visit to Pacific Pines State High School and we were a big hit! As with every group that visits, we pair each student with an Australian 'buddy.' All of our buddies did us extremely proud and were excellent ambassadors for our school and community. Although it was only a short visit of just over a week, there were lots of close friendships formed and many tears shed at the end. ... The Principal and Vice Principal also visited throughout the week and were extremely impressed with not only the program we provided but also with the exceptional behavior of our students. The entire year 11 cohort of Nara Gakuen Tomigaoka come to Australia each year and are split across different schools in the region. From the feedback we received, we can be confident that they will be back again in 2018.
